VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST), connecting (1993 m.y.)

- Move selector lever into position "P" or "N" and apply parking brake (vehicles with automatic transmission).
- Unclip cover for Data Link Connectors (DLC) under heating/ventilation controls.
- With ignition switched OFF, connect VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST) with VAG 1551/1 adapter harness as follows:
- First connect black connector from VAG 1551/1 adapter harness to black Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Indicated on display.

NOTE: If no display appears, do not connect the white connector. In this case, check the voltage supply for the VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST). - Connect white connector from VAG 1551/1 adapter harness to white Data Link Connector (blue connector is not used).
