Air deflector strap, removing

Vehicles with VR6 engine

Air deflectors for cooling the front brakes are installed on models with VR6 engines. As the front spoiler is not installed during transit, the air deflectors are attached with a strap to the bumper -D- to avoid damage.

Before installing the front spoiler:

Remove air deflector -A- and cut off the strap -B- where indicated by dashed line -C-.

Attach air deflector to the front spoiler with self-tapping combination screws.
NOTE: Combination screws are shipped with the air deflector.
