Transmission with selector elements: Notes

Position of selector elements 

The following list pertains to Fig 1.

  1. = 2nd and 4th gear brake -B2- 
  2. = Reverse gear clutch -K2- 
  3. = 1st to 3rd gear clutch -K1- 
  4. = 3rd and 4th gear clutch -K3- 
  5. = Reverse gear brake -B1- 
  6. = Free wheel clutch 
  7. = Lock-up clutch integrated in torque converter -LC- 

    Before starting transmission repairs, first check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) using On Board Diagnostic (OBD).
