VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST), connecting, selecting functions and checking control module (radio) version: Connecting

With ignition switched off, connect VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST) with adapter cable VAG 1551/3 to the Data Link Connector (DLC) as follows:

Open ashtray and remove, then slide cover for Data Link Connector (DLC) to left -arrow-.
Connect Scan Tool using adapter cable VAG 1551/3.
