Check DTC Memory

Press buttons -0- and -2- (02 enters the function "Check DTC Memory").

Press PRINT button.
Press -Q- button to confirm input.

The number of stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) will be indicated or "No DTCs recognized" will appear.

The number of stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) will be printed out one after the other.

Refer to DTC table. DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) TABLE with list of displayed malfunction(s).

Press --> button to return to start of scan tool program sequence.

Switch ignition off and disconnect VAG 1551 Scan Tool.

NOTE: If a malfunction was recognized:

Repair cause of malfunction
Check DTC Memory (function 02)
Erase DTC Memory (function 05)
