Pull rod, adjusting

NOTE: Pull rod must be adjusted each time it is removed and installed or when repairs are performed.

Secure locking link: Insert 3.2 mm dia. (0.125 in.) drill -1- into lock hole.

Draw pull rod in direction of arrow against resistance of drill.
Press pull rod in and close hinged sleeve.
Pull drill out of lock.
Perform functional check.
- Locking link must spring back to end position.
