Lock cylinder housing, removing and installing: Removing

Remove rear lid trim.
Disconnect connector -3-.
Unclip operating rods -1- and -2- on lock cylinder housing.

NOTE:

Lower spring mount can be damaged during collision repair.
If this is the case the lock cylinder housing must be replaced
Installation must therefore be performed carefully.

Use screwdriver to lift retaining clip -1-.

Remove cylinder housing.

NOTE: For ease of illustration the lock cylinder housing is omitted from the close up showing the levering-out of the retaining clip.

Take lock cylinder housing out of the handle and the rear lid.
