Front seat, removing and installing (vehicles with side airbags): Notes

NOTE: Before disconnecting ignition and Ground (GND) wire, the technician must be electrostatically discharged (touch closing wedge for door or chassis briefly). Connector -2- (at VAS5061 airbag adapter) is not required.

Disconnect ignition and Ground (GND) wire from side airbag.
Connect connector -1- (at VAS5061 airbag adapter) in connector housing - 4-.
Connect connector -3- (at VAS5061 airbag adapter) in connector housing - 5-.
Disconnect harness connectors for seat heating and seat adjustment if equipped.
