Jetta from m.y. 1996 & up

NOTE: The following list refers to Fig 1.
  1. - Radiator grill 
    • Single piece grille with integral trim panel
    • Material: ASA

    Removing:

    • Remove screws -A-.
    • Unlock lower catches -B- with screwdriver.
    • Unlock remaining catches -C-.
    • Using both hands (arrows) pull radiator grill upward away from lock carrier.
    • Insert small tool into holes -A-, press on catches -D- and remove, remove radiator grill.

    Installing:

    • Align radiator grill with center positioner (white arrow).
    • Install catches -C-, -B- and -D-.
    • Install and tighten screws -A-.
  2. - VW emblem 
    • Clipped in radiator grill
      CAUTION: Remove and install the radiator grille -1- and the VW emblem -2- very carefully to avoid damaging the paint finish.
