Door latch, removing and installing: Removing

Door window closed

Remove door handle.
Remove door trim. See DOOR TRIM .
Partially remove vapor barrier in rear area. See VAPOR BARRIER, REPLACING UP TO 12.93 or VAPOR BARRIER, REPLACING 01.94 AND UP .
Remove screws with collar -1-.
Tightening torque: 8 N.m (71 in. lb)
Disconnect pull rod -2-.
