Selector lever housing and selector lever, overview: Notes

  2. Cross member

    • Before removing, remove cross member -2-, three way catalytic converter, and front heat shield -4-
  6. Seal 
    • Bonded to selector lever housing
  7. Spacer sleeve 
    • Between center console and selector lever housing
  8. Nut 
    • For center console
  9. Stop 
  10. Rivet 
    • To secure stop
  11. Seal 
    • For ball housing
  12. Nut 
    • 25 N.m (18 ft lb)
    • Selector lever housing to body
  13. Ball housing

    • Before removing, remove eccentric adjuster, see Removing eccentric adjuster 

      Assembling before installation:

      • Slide on retainer plate -17-, spring -16- and ball -15-.
      • Secure with spring pin -19-.

    • When installing, make sure that two spherical halves do not separate
  26. Shift knob 
  27. Sleeve
