Clutch cable adjusting mechanism, checking function and repairing: Checking

Clutch cable adjusting mechanism must be undamaged
- Depress clutch pedal down to stop at least 5 times.
- Move clutch release lever approx. 10 mm (0.4 in.) in direction opposite to that of normal travel (arrow).

Clutch release lever must move freely.

NOTE: Always depress the clutch pedal at least 5 times before repeating the operational check.
