Allocation of cable locking mechanisms

After disassembly, cable locking mechanisms no longer need to be replaced.
- Spread a small quantity of grease G 000 450 02 on pin - arrows - of transmission shift lever - 1 - and of actuator lever - 2 -.
- Replace locking washers - 3 - and - 4 - after every disassembly.
Continuation for all shift mechanisms
- Align shift mechanism housing parallel to chassis.
- Distance to chassis must then be equal on both sides.

Adjust shift mechanism (up to transmission manufacture date 180503) → Shift mechanism, adjusting in transmissions with lock bolts (up to transmission manufacture date 180503) .
Adjust shift mechanism (as of transmission manufacture date 190503) → Shift mechanism, adjusting in transmissions with lock elbow (as of transmission manufacture date 190503) .
