Test sequence (vehicles with 09A transmission): Notes

Disconnect 20-pin harness connector -2-.

Observe safety precautions. Refer to Safety precautions .

Check harness connector for contact corrosion and ingress of water.

If harness connector is not OK:

Repair the malfunction.
Erase DTC memory of Transmission Control Module (TCM). Refer to Diagnostic mode 4: Reset/erase diagnostic data
Generate readiness code. Refer to Readiness code, generating

If harness connector is OK:

Check wire for Ground (GND) refeed of valve body according to wiring diagram. Refer to Checking Ground (GND) refeed of valve body .
