High-mount brake light - Jetta, removing and installing: Removing

CAUTION:

Before beginning repairs on the electrical system:

Switch off all electrical consumers.
Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

Disconnect electrical connector from high-mount brake light.
Remove rear shelf

Refer to 70 - INTERIOR TRIM

Unclip high-mount brake light from rear shelf -arrows-.
