Crankshaft seal (ribbed belt side), replacing: Removing

- Remove ribbed belt. Refer to Ribbed belt, removing and installing .
- Toothed belt, removing. Refer to Toothed belt, removing, installing and tensioning .
- Remove toothed belt crankshaft sprocket. To do this, lock toothed belt sprocket with counter support 3415.
- To guide seal puller, thread center bolt into crankshaft by hand until stop.
- Unscrew inner part of seal remover 3203 two rotations (approx. 3 mm) from outer part and secure with knurled-head screw.
- Lubricate threaded head of seal puller 2085 , position and with firm pressure thread into oil seal as far as possible.
- Loosen knurled screw and turn inner part against crankshaft until the oil seal is pulled out.
