Additional information and assembly work on models with an air conditioning system

CAUTION:
The air conditioning system refrigerant circuit must not be opened.
NOTE:
To prevent damage to the condenser as well as to the refrigerant lines/hoses, ensure that lines and hoses are not stretched, kinked or bent.
To facilitate removal and installation of the engine without having to open the refrigerant circuit:
- Remove sound insulation.
Refer to BODY, FRONT
- Remove retaining clamp(s) from refrigerant lines.
- Remove air conditioning compressor:
Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR AND BRACKET
- Secure air conditioning compressor to towing eye (arrow) so that refrigerant lines/hoses are not under tension.
NOTE:
Protect bumper with tape to prevent damage.
