Removing Oil Seal For Left Flange Shaft

Remove left wheel.
Remove noise insulation tray.
Remove left noise insulation.
Turn steering to left lock.
Remove drive axle from flange shaft.
Mark installation position of swivel joint bolts on left suspension link and remove bolts.

Remove bolts - arrows -.

Separate left coupling rod - 1 - from suspension link and turn coupling rod upwards.
Swing wheel bearing housing outwards.
Raise left drive axle - 2 - between subframe and transmission and secure to suspension strut with wire.
Remove countersunk bolt.
Place drip tray under transmission.
Carefully pull out flange shaft with compression spring. Taper ring, thrust washer and compression spring can drop out.
