Seals for flanged shafts on rear final drive, replacing: Installing

Drive in new sealing ring to stop.
Fill area between sealing lip and dust lip halfway with sealing grease G 052 128 A1.
Clamp flanged shaft in vise with protective jaws.

Press circlip out of flanged shaft groove with new circlip - A -.
Drive in flanged shaft using plastic mallet.
Replace flanged shaft/drive axle seal (remove protective foil and push seal into joint).
Attach drive axles to flanges → 42 REAR SUSPENSION .

Check gear oil in rear final drive → Gear oil in rear final drive, checking .
Check oil specification if adding oil → Code letters, allocation, ratios, capacities .
