Oil level in Haldex clutch, checking

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
- Torque wrench V.A.G 1331
- Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051
- Diagnostic cable, 3m with power supply VAS 5051/1 or Diagnostic cable, 5m without power supply VAS 5051/3
- Connect Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051/.
- Select "Suspension (SUSPENSION, WHEELS, STEERING (A4 PLATFORM) )" on display.
- Select "All Wheel Drive with Haldex clutch" on display.
- Select "01 - On Board Diagnostic capable systems" on display.
- Select "All Wheel Drive Haldex" on display.
- Select "Electrical components" on the display.
- Select "Oil temperature" on the display.
- Oil temperature must be 20 to 40 ° C.
- Oil temperature can be obtained by driving vehicle to warm it.
- Remove oil checking plug - arrow -.
Oil level is correct when Haldex clutch is filled up to lower edge of checking hole or up to a minimum of approx. 3 mm below lower edge of checking hole.
- Tighten bolt - arrow - to specified torque → Rear final drive, disassembling and assembling .
- If oil level is not correct, change oil in Haldex clutch → Oil in Haldex clutch, changing .
