Available adjustment shims for S

Install determined adjustment shim S ₄ in place of 2.50 mm thick shim.
Install drive pinion housing with adjustment shim S ₃ to final drive housing.

NOTE:

When securing drive pinion housing, an adjustment shim S ₃ (e.g. 1.2 mm) must be inserted, so that shaft bevel gear does not make contact on final drive housing.

Secure output flange for bevel gear transfer case using stop plate T10108/1.
Tighten hex nut for output flange to specified torque.

Socket wrench insert - A - for drive 3/4 inch

Input shaft with head bevel gear is removed

Measure friction torque.

- A - Standard torque gauge, 0 - 600 Ncm

- B - Socket wrench insert

- C - Adapter of 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch

Different tolerances make it possible to measure the required shim size exactly.
