NOTE:
- If replacement of parts influences the tapered roller bearing position, input shaft must be adjusted anew. Note list of adjustments → Adjustment overview for manual transmission
- Replace both tapered roller bearings together.

- Pulling out: Pulling outer race/tapered roller bearing out of transmission housing
- Pressing in: Pressing outer race/tapered roller bearing into transmission housing
4 - Circlip
5 - Inner race/tapered roller bearing
- Pulling off: Pressing off inner race/tapered roller bearing
- Pressing on: Pressing on inner race/tapered roller bearing
6 - Gear wheel for 5th gear
- Pressing off: Pressing off 5th gear
- Pressing on: Pressing on 5th gear
7 - Gear wheel for 3rd/4th and 6th gears
- Pressing off: Pressing off gear wheel for 3rd/4th and 6th gears
- Pressing on: Pressing on gear wheel for 3rd/4th and 6th gears

9 - Inner race/tapered roller bearing
- Pressing off: Pulling off inner race/tapered roller bearing
- Pressing on: Pressing on inner race/tapered roller bearing
10 - Tapered roller bearing outer race
- Pulling out: Pulling outer race/tapered roller bearing off clutch housing
- Installed position: Installed position of outer race/tapered roller bearing in clutch housing
- Pressing in: As of transmission manufacture date 06040: Pressing in tapered roller bearing outer race
- As of transmission manufacture date 06040, secured with securing plate and bolt: As of transmission manufacture date 06040: Pressing in tapered roller bearing outer race
- Bolt, 12 Nm
- Always replace bolt
