Over-center spring, removing and installing: Removing

Remove trim below steering column. → 68 - INTERIOR EQUIPMENT

Insert assembly clamp T10111 into over-center spring from right side.
While inserting clamp, make sure it is seated properly on over-center spring:

Assembly spring must make contact on rear part of over-center spring with claws directly above brace - 1 -.

Press clutch pedal lightly in direction of cross panel.
Engage tab - 2 - of assembly clamp into cut-out of over-center spring.
Press clutch pedal to cross panel far enough that over-center spring can be removed downward out of bearings on mounting bracket and clutch pedal.
Bring clutch pedal into rest position.

Rotate over-center spring together with assembly clamp T10111 in direction of - arrow A - and pull out downward in direction of - arrow B -.
