Camshaft oil seal, removing and installing: Removing

- Remove toothed belt. Refer to Toothed belts, removing, installing and tensioning .
- Remove camshaft pulley and hub. Refer to Camshaft, removing and installing .
- Unscrew inner part of oil seal extractor 3240 two turns (approx. 3 mm) out of outer part and lock with knurled screw.
- Lubricate threaded head of oil seal extractor , place it in position and exerting firm pressure, screw it as far as possible into oil seal.
- Loosen knurled screw and turn inner part against camshaft until oil seal is pulled out.
