Test conditions

- Engine coolant temperature at least 80° C (176°F)
- All electrical consumers switched OFF (e.g. rear defogger)
- A/C switched OFF (where applicable)
- Vehicles with automatic transmission: selector lever in "P" or "N" position
- No malfunctions stored in Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory, see CHECK DTC MEMORY (SCAN TOOL FUNCTION 02)
