Check DTC Memory

Indicated on display (function selection) :

• Press buttons -0- and -2- (02 enters the function "Check DTC Memory").

Indicated on display

• Press PRINT button.
• Press -Q- button to confirm input.

The number of stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) will be indicated or "No DTCs recognized" will appear.

• Press --> button

  The number of stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) will be printed out one after the other.

• Refer to DTC table. DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) TABLE  with list of displayed malfunction(s).

Press --> button to return to start of scan tool program sequence.

Indicated on display (function selection) :

• End Output (function 06) page, refer to END OUTPUT  .
• Switch ignition off and disconnect VAG 1551 Scan Tool.

• Repair cause of malfunction
• Check DTC Memory (function 02)
• Erase DTC Memory (function 05)
