Front belt reel with tensioning unit, removing and installing (2- door): Removing
- Remove side panel trim, refer to SIDE PANEL TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Remove upper and lower B pillar trim: refer to B-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING and/or side panel trim, refer to SIDE PANEL TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Loosen lock nut -10-, this detaches tensioning unit -9- and makes it inactive.
- Remove anchor rail -4-, refer to Removing anchor rail (2-door) .
- Remove belt guide.
- Remove belt reel -1-.
- Pull tensioning unit -9- out of mounting bracket -8-.
Installation is in the reverse of removal
