Airbag unit, deploying (disposal)

CAUTION:

The storage, transportation and disposal of airbag units are subject to the laws for flammable solids.
Disposal of airbag units:
DO NOT deploy airbag inside vehicle.
Deployed airbag units (gas generators): deployed airbag units DO NOT have to be disposed of as hazardous waste but can be discarded in the normal manner. However, it is recommended to have the unit recycled.

Remove airbag unit, refer to DRIVER-SIDE AIRBAG UNIT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Use J-44210 Deployment Fixture and refer to the Airbag & Pyrotechnic Deployment Device Instruction Booklet for proper deployment procedure.
