CAUTION: Always disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap before working on sections of the HID headlamps marked with yellow high voltage symbols.

Then switch low beams on and back off. This removes any possible residual voltage.

The HID lamp control module should not be operated without HID lamps.

The HID lamp must only be operated in the headlamp housing due to the high voltage (over 28000 V when igniting) and high temperatures.

CAUTION:
  • Never change bulbs if you are not familiar with the corresponding steps, safety precautions and the tool.
