Battery, disconnecting

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION:
  • Obtain anti-theft radio security code.
  • Switch off all electrical consumers.
  • Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.
  • Do not loosen or remove ground strap from body. Disconnect terminal from battery only.

In order to disconnect positive ( B+ ) terminal, first remove fuse holder on top of battery:
