Steering lock housing, removing and installing: Removing

• Remove steering wheel → 69 - PASSENGER PROTECTION - AIRBAGS, SEAT BELTS

Remove trim for steering column switch and slip ring or Steering Angle Sensor G85 if installed.

• Remove bolt for steering column switch and remove steering column switch.
• Remove plastic cover over shear bolts.

The ignition key removal lock cable must be disconnected on vehicles with automatic transmission → Locking cable for ignition with key withdrawal lock, removing and installing

• Chisel off shear head bolts with a suitable chisel.

Removing ignition switch / lock cylinder → 94 LIGHTS, SWITCHES - EXTERIOR
