Ignition key lock, checking
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Turn ignition key to "ignition on" position.
- Press brake pedal.
Must be possible to move selector lever out of P position.
If this is not possible, the ignition key removal lock cable must be adjusted. → 37 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - CONTROLS, HOUSING for 4 SPD. AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION 01M (A4 PLATFORM) or 37 - AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - CONTROLS, HOUSING for 5 SPD. AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION 09A (A4 PLATFORM)
It must only be possible to remove the ignition key when selector lever is in P position!
When ignition key is in position "Ignition off" it must not be possible to move selector lever out of P position!
