I - Subframe, stabilizer bar, control arm, overview

NOTE:
  • If a vehicle that has a drive shaft removed is to be moved, an outer CV joint must be installed in place of the drive shaft and be tightened to 50 Nm. Otherwise, the wheel bearing will be damaged.
  • Welding and straightening operations are not permitted on load-bearing or wheel-controlling components.
  • Always replace self-locking nuts.
  • Always replaced corroded bolts/nuts.

1 - Subframe retaining bracket

The captive nut cannot be reworked. If the nut is damaged, replace complete mounting bracket.

2 - Weld nut in body

If weld nut threads are damaged, threads can be repaired using Heli-Coil thread inserts.

Servicing thread in side rail → Threads in longitudinal member, servicing 

3 - Bonded rubber bushing

4 - Hex bolt M 14 x 1.5 x 63

5 - Nut, self-locking

6 - Rear control arm bushing

7 - Hex bolt M 12 x 1.5 x 70

8 - Hex nut, self-locking, 45 Nm

9 - Ball joint

10 - Hex nut, 75 Nm

11 - Control arm

12 - Hex head bolt, 25 Nm

13 - Left Front Level Control System Sensor G78

14 - Front control arm bushing

15 - Hex bolt M 14 x 1.5 x 95

16 - Connecting Link

17 - Hex nut, 90 Nm

18 - Stabilizer bar

The subframe must be lowered to remove and install.

19 - Hex bolt M 12 x 1.5 x 78

20 - Hex head bolt, 25 Nm

21 - Hex head bolt, 50 Nm

22 - Hex head bolt, 50 Nm

23 - Pendulum support

24 - Subframe

25 - Rubber bushing

26 - Clamp

27 - Hex head bolt, 25 Nm
