Component layout (Jetta, 1997 m.y. and up)

From model year 1997 the center high-mount brake light has been revised. The new light, with 5 bulbs instead of 14, is mount in the same location as the previous version.

NOTE: The following list refers to items in Fig 1 .

- Center high-mount brake light
- Attached to rear window using adhesive
- 5 bulbs
- Rear window
- Cover
- Remove to replace bulbs
