Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) table: Notes

NOTE:
  • All possible malfunctions that can be recognized by Airbag Control Module -J234- and printed out on VAG 1551 are listed below on basis of 5-digit DTC.
  • Diagnostic Trouble codes (DTC) and flash code appear (in "Rapid data transfer" mode) only in printout.

  • Additional description of malfunction may also appear in Diagnostic Trouble Code table.
  • Before replacing suspected components, test all appropriate connections, wiring and Ground (GND) connections according to wiring diagram.
  • After repairs, once again, check and erase DTC memory using VAG 1551 scan tool (ST).
