Test sequence

- Remove harness connector from sensor for engine temperature -G27-. See COOLING SYSTEM COMPONENTS, ENGINE SIDE .
- Measure resistance between engine temperature sensor terminals -1- and -3- using multimeter.
- Compare reading with specifications (see Figure
).
If specification not obtained:
- Release coolant system pressure and replace engine temperature sensor.
