Removal (Vanagon)

Remove dust cap and cotter pin. Loosen castellated nut. Raise and support vehicle securely. Remove wheels. Release parking brake at equalizer, and back off adjuster. Remove drum retaining screws. Attach Drum Puller (OTC 827-B) and remove drum. Make sure drum can rotate freely during removal.
