Installation (Girling - Vanagon)
- Press piston into bore of caliper housing. Clean surfaces of caliper housing that will touch pads. Install noise damping plates with arrows pointing upward. Install brake pads and spreader spring. Install retaining pins with NEW circlips.
- If brake hose brackets were moved, ensure that there is minimum distance of 1" (25 mm) between hose and tire at all times. Turn wheels full left and right to check clearance. If necessary, correct clearance by bending bracket.
