Transaxle Disassembly: Notes

NOTE: To separate transaxle units, withdraw torque converter from final drive housing and remove oil pump shaft from center of turbine shaft. Disconnect oil filler pipe. Remove attaching nuts from transaxle studs that attach final drive to transaxle, then separate final drive unit from transaxle case. Withdraw turbine shaft from final drive assembly pinion shaft.
