Bushing Replacement

  1. Check bushing wear using an inside micrometer. Wear limit of bushing is 1.348" (34.25 mm), and maximum allowable out-of-round is .001" (.03 mm).
  2. To replace bushing, use a bushing puller to withdraw bushing from converter hub. Press new bushing into place until it is fully seated in hub. Ensure that inside diameter of new bushing is 1.340-1.341" (34.03-34.05 mm).
