Valve Body Assembly: Reassembly
- Lubricate all parts with automatic transaxle fluid and install into proper valve body bores, in reverse order of disassembly. When tightening end plate attaching screws, be careful not to overtighten them as this could easily strip the threads or distort the valve body enough to cause a valve to stick.
- Ensure all check balls are installed in proper valve body passages. Install transfer plate-to-main valve body screws and tighten from center outward, taking care not to overtighten.
NOTE:
Two collar-type screws are used for attaching roller assembly to body, 3 galvanized screws are for accumulator cover plate, and the remaining 19 screws are used for transfer plate-to-main body attachment.
