Removal (Vanagon)

  1. Remove dust cap, cotter pin and loosen castellated nut. Raise and support vehicle. Remove tire and wheel.
  2. Release parking brake at equalizer, and back off adjuster. Remove drum retaining screws. Install Puller (OTC 827-B or equivalent) and remove drum.
NOTE: Drum must rotate freely during removal.
