Rear Brake Drum: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure and ensure drum retaining screws are tight. Adjust parking brake and depress brake pedal several times to set self-adjusting mechanism.

1. To install, reverse removal procedure and adjust wheel bearings. See WHEEL BEARING ADJUSTMENT in SUSPENSION - REAR article.
2. Apply brake pedal firmly several times to set self-adjusting mechanism.
