Lock Cylinder: Removal
- Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove steering wheel. See HORN PAD & STEERING WHEEL . Remove upper and lower steering column switch trim covers.
- Drill .125" (3.18 mm) hole in lock housing to gain access to cylinder release pin. See Fig 1 .
- Insert pin through hole and press down spring holding lock cylinder in housing. It may be necessary to insert key to pull out cylinder.
