Disassembly - KELSEY-HAYES

  1. Disconnect brake hose from caliper. Remove caliper from support assembly. Remove anti-rattle springs and guide pins. Remove support from spindle.
  2. Remove dust boot from piston. Place wooden block in caliper housing, and force piston out of cylinder using compressed air.
  3. Remove piston seal without damaging bore. Remove guide pins and bushings, if required.
