Removal & Installation: Removal

Disconnect shift linkage bearing plate from rack housing. Loosen pinch bolts on steering shaft and remove shaft from pinion. Disconnect tie rod ends from steering linkage, using suitable puller. Remove mounting bolts and remove rack with tie rods attached.
