Instrument Panel LTE Antenna Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  No

Removal Procedure: 

1. Disconnect the 12V Battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
2. Remove the Instrument Panel Assembly. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

3. Unclip 3 cable retainer (1) for the LTE antenna from the instrument panel.

4. Remove 2 screws (1).

   Torque: 2 Nm 

5. Remove LTE-antenna (2) from the instrument panel.

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install the Instrument Panel Assembly. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Reconnect 12V Battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
4. Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING AND SETUP USING IDS IN SERVICE
