Removal [03/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [03/2019 - ] 

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:
    • Hot surfaces.

      Risk of burning!

      • Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.
    1. Unlock the ventilation pipe sub-assembly (1) and release from the air cleaner hose assembly.

    2. Loosen clamp (2).
    3. Unlock and loosen clamp (3).
    4. Feed out air cleaner hose assembly (4) and remove.
  4. REMOVE COVER CAP 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when reused of the air cleaner hose assembly is necessary.

    1. Remove the cover cap (2) of the air cleaner hose assembly (1) before installation.
