Removal [03/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER LOWER PROTECTOR 

    Refer to REMOVAL [03/2019 - ]

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for High Temperature) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 INTEGRATION RELAY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [07/2020 - ]

  4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECM BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE 
    WARNING:
    • Hot fluids.

      Risk of scalding!

      • Conduct all work in the vehicle wearing appropriate personal protective equipment only.
    NOTE:

    Collect and dispose of emerging fluids. Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

    1. Unlock and disconnect the radiator hose sub-assembly (1).

    2. Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.
    3. Unlock and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose (2).
    4. Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.
    5. Unclip the No. 2 radiator hose (1) from the holder (2).

    6. Unlock the No. 2 radiator hose (1) below the intake manifold and disconnect it from the water valve with bracket assembly.

    7. Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.
    8. Guide the No. 2 radiator hose (1) out and remove.
