Installation [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL METER MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the associated connector to the meter mirror sub-assembly and lock.
    2. Temporarily install the meter mirror sub-assembly with T30 bolts (1).

    3. Tighten the T30 bolts (1).

      Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SEAL 
    1. Install the No. 1 instrument cluster finish panel seal.
  3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [07/2020 - ]

  4. ENCODE/PROGRAM CONTROL UNIT(S) 
    NOTE:
    • Use the most recent software version to prevent faults during programming/encoding.
    • The battery voltage must not drop below 13.0 V during programming.
    • Use only recommended chargers for a low-voltage vehicle electrical system.
    • Do not exceed the maximum charging voltage of 14.8 V when charging the battery.

      Refer to

    • When there is communication abnormality in the middle of work, control unit might be damaged.
    • It may be necessary to perform the Action Plan several times.
    1. Connect the battery charger to the vehicle.
    2. Connect the diagnosis system with the vehicle.
    3. Determine the action plan.

      Service plan / Programming plan / Action plan / Calculate action plan

    4. Accept and fully process the measures plan.

      Service plan / Programming plan / Action plan / Perform action plan

    5. Wait until programming/encoding has been completed.
      NOTE:

      When there is communication abnormality in the middle of work, control unit might be damaged.

    6. Carry out vehicle test.

      Vehicle management / Troubleshooting / Fault memory / Calculate test plan

    7. Delete the fault memory.

      Vehicle management / Troubleshooting / Fault memory / Delete fault memory

    8. Disconnect the diagnosis system from the vehicle.
    9. Disconnect the battery charger from the vehicle.
